- Olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, diced

- 6 T.chopped parsley or 1 T. dried
- parsley
- Water
- 1 t. sage
- 1 t. sugar
directions
Brown beef in olive oil. Remove from pan. Brown onion, and celery in more olive oil, add garlic for last couple of minutes. Combine meat, browned vegetables, tomato paste, mushrooms, parsley, sage, and sugar. Add water to thin. Cook for an hour or more.
notes
I usually double the recipe and freeze in small containers. Thaws easily in microwave, cook some spaghetti, and voila! Dinner!
