prize cookies (aka mincemeat cookies)

ingredients
- 3 1/4 c flour
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 t soda
- 1 c shortening
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 c sugar
- 1 9 oz pkg. mincemeat
directions

sift flour, salt and soda. cream shortening, add sugar gradually until fluffy. add eggs. beat until smooth. add mincemeat, then flour and mix well.

drop by tsp, 2 in apart on greased cookie sheet. bake @ 400 about 12 min. (375, 8-10 at high altitude).
