Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese on Cucumber
An elegant hors d’oeuvre that Mutti often serves with champagne!
ingredients
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 2 teaspoons freshly snipped chives
- 2 teaspoons drained tiny capers, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 whole English cucumbers, washed, ends trimmed
- 8 ounces thinly sliced smoked salmon
