Spaghetti Cassarole
ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups thin spaghetti in 1 1/2 inch pieces
- 1/4 cup butter
- 6 green onions with tops, chopped
- 4 oz. can mushroom pieces, drained
- 1 1/2 cup diced ham
- 1 cup cooked chicken or turkey
- 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/8 tsp. pepper, 1/2 tsp. celery salt
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 small can green chili

Cook spaghetti till tender, rinse and drain. Saute’ the onions, chili, and mushrooms in butter. Add ham or chicken and seasonings. Combine sour cream, cottage cheese and 1/2 cup of the cheddar with spaghetti mixture. Toss well and place in 1 1/2 qt. casserole dish. Top with remaining cheese. Bake at 325-350° about 20 minutes till hot and cheese is melted. Freezes well.
