ingredients

  • chicken
  • 1 1/2 c water
  • 1/4 c soy sauce
  • 1/4 c vinegar
  • 2 pcs bay leaves, crumbled
  • 1/2 t peppercorns
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced

directions

    1. Place chicken in a pan. Add in water, soy sauce, vinegar, bay leaves, peppercorns.

    2. Cook until boiled.

    3. Simmer uncovered for 20 minutes, or until liquid has evaporated and the smell of vinegar disappears.

    4. Remove from pan. Saute garlic, add chicken and cook until brown.

  • 5

    5. Add the sauce again.

Substitute coconut milk for water if desired.
