Quick German Chocolate Cake

This cake always gets rave reviews and has replaced the traditional German Chocolate cake at Bruce’s and Glen’s birthdays.
ingredients
- 1c coconut
- 1c chopped pecans
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 stick butter
- 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
- 2c powdered sugar
directions
Preheat oven to 350°. Grease and flour 9x13 pan. Spread coconut and pecans evenly on bottom of pan. Prepare cake mix as instructed on box. Spread mix over coconut and pecans. Mix butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar. Spoon cream cheese mixture in dallops over cake (this looks and feels wrong, but it’s right - so, so right). Bake for 50-55 minutes.
