Recipe Notes

Edit note

You could use 1/2 butter and 1/2 margerine. All butter makes a cookie that is a little softer. So it just depends if you are soft or crisp

We made this recipe with 1/2 butter and 1/2 shortening. The cookies turned out perfectly! We used a large cookie scoop as we were making the cookies for wedding favors, and they baked up perfectly...soft in the center, crisp on the outside. They didn't spread too much as some all butter recipes do. Loved that the batch was so big and it made so many. Keeper recipe!
