Mile High in the Sky Buttermilk Biscuits
These are the best biscuits. I would not change my recipe for the world.
ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 cup splenda
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 stick low-calorie butter
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 cup buttermilk
directions

Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees

Combine all the dry ingredients

Cut in butter until the mixture is crumbly. Work it in good its important.

Add beaten egg and milk.

Mix until a ball forms.

You may have to add a little more flour.

Work dough on a lightly floured surface. Do not knead it too much

Roll out dough to 3/4 inch

Cut out biscuits using a large biscuit cutter.

Place biscuits on lightly greased pan (I use Pam)

Bake in 425 degree oven. for 15-20 minutes.

I like to spray mine with butter flavored Pam when they are almost done. Then put it back in the oven to brown lightly.
