• 1 C softened butter
• 1/2 C sugar
• 3/4 C brown sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 egg
• 1 C flour (white or whole wheat)
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1/8 tsp nutmeg
• 3 C oats
• 2 C chocolate chips
• 1 C nuts, chopped (optional)
