Madeline's Bran Muffins
Healthy Muffins
ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
- 1 c. oat bran
- 1/2 t. baking soda
- 1/2 t. baking powder
- 1/2 c. raisin or cranberries
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1/2 c. honey or molasses
- 2 T. vegetable oil
- 3/4 c. applesauce
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 c. milk
directions
Mix the first six ingredients in a bowl. Add the wet ingredients and stir until just mixed. Over mixing will create tough muffins. Bake muffins at 400 for 15-20 minutes.
