Pulled Pork
ingredients
- 1/4 cup paprika
- 2 TBSP salt
- 2 TBSP ground black pepper
- 2 TBSP brown sugar
- 2 TBSP chili powder
- 2 TBSP ground cumin
- 1 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 3-5 pound boneless pork roast
- 1 to 2 TBSP olive oil

1. Combine paprika, salt, pepper, sugar, chili powder, cumin, cayenne, onion powder and garlic powder.

2. Rub surface of pork using about 1 to 3 TBSP of mixture (Reserve remainder for another use, keeping rub uncontaminated-do not touch meat, then dip hands in rub; you’ll have about a 3/4 cup left.

3. Heat oil over medium heat in large skillet; brown pork on all sides.

4. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Place pork in roasting pan and toast in preheated oven until very tender, 3-3 1/2 hours. When done, use two forks to shred meat.
