Breakfast Rice Pudding


Eat dessert for breakfast - we turned this honey favorite healthy with tofu and brown rice

  • 9 ounces soft tofu
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked brown rice
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup almonds

    In a blender, blend the tofu until smooth. Spoon into a bowl and add the honey, vanilla, cinnamon, rice, raisins, and almonds. Mix well. Chill for several hours to blend the flavors.

    Tofu is a good source of zinc, necessary for good immune function, while cinnamon may help stop the growth of bacteria and fungi, including candida yeast. Brown rice is rich in fiber, which helps the body eliminate toxins, as well as manganese, selenium, and magnesium, enzymes that help in the detoxification process.
