- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 shallots (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt & pepper
- About 1/2 cup vodka (or a little less) with 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 can small tomato sauce (such as Hunts) or 1 1/2 cans depending on how pink you like it
- Penne
- Parmesan cheese for garnish
