Lakror - Albanian Pie/Quiche
My sister Jean is the Lakror Queen. Her lakror is light, flaky and filling. Didn’t quite know where to put this recipe but thought that my sister might appreciate having the last word!
ingredients
- Dough:
- 6 cups flour
- 2 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 2 1/4 cups warm water
- 1 pound butter – melted
- Filling:
- 1 pound cottage cheese
- 3 eggs
- bunch of leeks – cleaned, chopped and sauted in butter
