Sausage Squares
This recipe comes from Aunt Jeanne and it is delicious!
ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/2 t. onion powder
- Dash of pepper
- 2 C. milk
- 1/2 t. dry mustard
- 2 C. seasoned croutons
- 1 1/2 C. mozzarella cheese – grated
- 1 lb. sausage (in roll) cooked and drained
directions
Combine all ingredients except croutons, cheese, and sausage. Put croutons on bottom of oven proof 8 inch square baking dish. Top with cheese. Pour eggs & milk mixture over cheese. Top with cooked sausage. Bake for 55 minutes. Cover with foil for last 15 minutes. Cut into squares and serve warm.
