Creamed Corn
A great side dish for steak, prime rib or chicken
ingredients
- 2 20 oz. packages frozen corn
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1 cup milk
- (or substitute 2 cups half and half)
- 1 t salt
- 6 t sugar
- pinch of white or cayenne pepper
- 2 T melted butter
- 2 T all purpose flour
directions

1. Combine all ingredients except butter and flour in a pot and bring to boil. Simmer 5 minutes.

2. Blend butter with flour, add to the corn, mix well and simmer until thickened.
