Mom White's Broccoli Casserole
Mom White got this recipe from a friend in the early 80’s. It has been part of our holiday dinners ever since.This is Mom & Candi 2008
ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups minute rice cooked
- 1 cup celery chopped
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 2 frozen packages chopped broccoli, thawed
- 8 ounces cheese whiz
- 2/3 cup bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter

Saute celery and onions in the butter till tender. Add to the cooked rice.

Also add the mushroom soup, thawed broccoli, and cheese whiz. Mix all together put in a 9 x 13 inch casserole dish. Sprinkle top with a little bread crumbs on top. Bake 30 minutes in a 350 degree oven till hot and bubbly. Or in a microwave about 15 minutes.
