- Hamburger meat (1/2 beef and 1/2 veal for a variation)
- Cornstarch or Potato starch
- Sour cream
Prepare hamburger meat with egg, salt, pepper, and bread crumbs.
Grind potatoes in a processor. Squeeze water out of potatoes. Add 2 eggs, 1/2 cup cornstarch (potato), 1 cup flour, and salt.
Make large meatballs out of meat. Wrap meat with potato mixture.
Boil for 20 minutes.
For sauce: slice bacon and mushrooms. Saute until done. Mix in sour cream and heat.
Serve Cepelinai with sauce.
