Margherita Pita Pizzas
ingredients
- 2 tsps olive/vegetable oil
- 1 tsp italian seasoning
- 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 garlic clove, pressed
- 4 flat pita bread rounds (no pockets)
- 2 plum tomatoes, sliced
- 1 c (4 oz) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbls snipped fresh basil leaves

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Combine oil, seasoning, vinegar, and garlic in bowl; mix well. Brush 1 side of pita with mixture.

Top pita rounds with tomatoes and cheese.

Bake 10-12 minutes or until cheese is melted and edges are lightly browned.

Sprinkle with basil and serve.
