Homemade Meatballs

These are delicious!
ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 2 tablespoons of minced onion
- 2 tablespoons of milk
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 1 dash of pepper
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- 2/3 cup of Heinz Chili Sauce
- 2/3 cup red currant jelly (or use grape in a pinch)
directions
Combine first 8 ingredients in a large bowl. Form into bite size balls. Brown meatballs in oil. Cover. Simmer for 10 minutes. Drain grease. Combine chili and jelly in a bowl. Pour over meatballs. Heat, stir until jelly melts. Simmer for 10-12 minutes until thick. Baste occasionally.

This is so much better than buying that bag of frozen meatballs!
