Spinach Dip

ingredients

  • 16 ounce carton sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 can water chestnuts, chopped
  • 3-4 green onions, chopped
  • garlic salt to taste
  • 1 package frozen spinach, cooked and cooled
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 package Knorr leek soup mix
  • 1 round loaf French bread

directions

    Cream together cream cheese, mayonnaise, soup mix and garlic salt. Add sour cream, water chestnuts, onions and spinach. Mix well.

    Cut off top of bread and scoop out. Cut bread into small pieces. Use to dip.

    Fill bread with spinach mixture and arrange bread pieces around it. More bread pieces may be necessary.
