Finger and Face Paint

Finger paint and face paint is fun to use if you have young kids. It is much cheaper to make your own then to purchase it. When it is this easy, why not?

ingredients

Finger Paint:

3 Tbs. sugar
1/2 cup cornstarch
2 cups cold water
food coloring
dish detergent

Face Paint:

1 tsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. water
1/2 tsp. cold cream
a couple of drops of food coloring

directions

Finger paint:

Mix together sugar, cornstarch, and water. Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil then thickens, about 5 minutes. Cool, add food coloring and one drop of dish detergent. Mix well.

Face paint:

Combine all ingredients and mix well.
