ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 lb. bacon chopped
  • 16 oz. can pork and beans, drained
  • 16 oz. can baby lima beans, drained
  • 16 oz. can kidney beans, drained
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (maybe a little more)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons mustard
  • 1/2 cup white sugar (maybe a little less)
  • 1 teaspoon salt

directions

Start frying the bacon until limp and curly. Drain off grease, add ground beef and brown. Drain off fat. Add rest of ingredients and simmer at least 20 minutes or until heated thru.

notes

Good side dish with burgers or hot dogs.
