Homemade Parmesan Biscuits
ingredients
- 2 Cups AP flour
- 1/4 Cups Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 Tbsp + 1 tsp. Baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 6 oz. Cold, Unsalted butter, cut into small slices
- 3/4 Cup *Buttermilk

Place all of the dry ingredients into the bowl of the processor and combine by pulsing 3 to 4 times. Place all of the cold butter on the dry and pulse into the mix to form small pieces of dough the size of peas.

Add the buttermilk in a slow, steady stream while pulsing the processor until the milk is used. Do not over mix!

Roll dough to 3/4” thickness. Shape dough into a rectangle and cut out small square biscuits, about 2” x 2”, and place on a 1/2 sheet pan.

Brush each biscuit with melted butter & and sprinkle with a pinch of grated

Parmesan.Bake for 10 - 14 minutes in a 400° oven.

*Note out OF Buttermilk?: 2 tsp Cider vinegar Plus enough milk to equal ¾ Cups Can be substituted for buttermilk.
