CHOCOLATE CHIP SANDWICH COOKIES
ingredients
Cookie- 2 Sticks Butter - Softened
- 3/4 Cup Packed Light Brown Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
- 1/4 Light Corn Syrup – Karo
- 1 Egg
- 2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 2 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour
- 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
- 10-12 Ounce Bag Chocolate Chunk Milk
- 8 Ounces 1/3 Less Fat Cream Cheese
- 1 Cup Powder Sugar
- 1 Stick Butter Softened – NOT Melted

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Add corn syrup, egg and vanilla. Stir flour, baking soda, and salt together; gradually add to the butter mixture, beating until well blended. Add chocolate chips. Use a ice cream scoop with the arm leaver to make your cookies – small one.

Bake for 8 – 10 minutes and cool completely.

Mix all ingredients for the filling together with a hand mixer. When the cookies have cooled completely, spoon the filling onto a cookie and place another cookie on top to make the sandwich cookie.
