GERMAN CHOCOLATE SANDWICH COOKIES
ingredients
Cookies- 1 3/4 Cup All Purpose Flour
- 1 1/2 Cups Sugar
- 1 1/2 Sticks Butter - Softened
- 3/4 Cup Hershey’s Cocoa
- 3/4 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
- 2 Eggs
- 2 Tablespoons Milk
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 10-12 Ounce Bag Chocolate Chunk Chocolate Chips
- 15 Ounce Coconut Pecan Icing

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Beat butter and granulated sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.

Add eggs, milk, and vanilla. Stir flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt together; gradually add to the butter mixture, beating until well blended.

Add chocolate chips. Use a ice cream scoop with the arm leaver to make your cookies – small one.

Bake for 8 – 10 minutes and cool completely.

When the cookies have cooled completely, spoon the icing onto a cookie and place another cookie on top to make the sandwich cookie.
