Korean-Styled Grilled Flank Steak
Super Easy - Great date meal !
ingredients
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 T rice wine vinegar (not seasoned)
- 1 T ginger - grated
- 2 t Sriracha (southeast asian chile sauce)
- 2 t sugar
- 1 1/2 t Asian sesame oil (i think that means toasted)
- 1 - 1 1/4 lb. flank steak
- 2 scallions finely chopped
- 2 T toasted sesame seeds
- accompany this dish with white rice, and soft leaf lettuce (for wrapping beef), and mint or cilantro

1. Stir together first 7 ingredients for sauce.

2. Prepare grill for direct heat cooking over medium-high heat.

3. Oil grill - grill steak - covered, turning over once 6-8 minutes for med. rare.

4. Transfer steak to cutting board and drizzle with 2 T sauce. Let stand, uncovered, 5 minutes.

5. Thinly slice steak across the grain.

6. Serve with sauce, scallions, and sesame seeds
