White Gravy
I love white gravy over buttermilk biscuits with sausage
ingredients
- 2 cups low-fat milk
- 4 tbs. flour
- 4 tbs. low-fat butter
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
directions

Melt butter in a saucepan
- 2
Add flour and stir well
- 3
Add milk and stir until bubbly (I use a whisk)

Add the salt and pepper
- 5
The gravy will thicken as it boils
- 6
Turn off the heat and let the gravy rest, it will continue to thicken.

Continue to stir lightly so lumps won’t set in
