Chickpea "Nuts"
This are crunchy like chips, but much healthier, put them out when you have guests over and I assure you will have none left for yourself
ingredients
- 1 14 oz. can chickpeas
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp. salt
directions

1) Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

2) Rinse the chickpeas in a colander, make sure the water is thoroughly drained and pat dry with a paper towel.

3) In a bowl, combine the chickpeas and the rest of the ingredients and toss well.

4) Spread them out on a parchment lined baking sheet and roast in the oven for about 50 minutes. They should be browned but not burned.

5) Store in a sealed container in a cool, dry place for about a week.
notes
Try replacing pepper flakes with: • 1 tbsp of lemon pepper. • 1 tbsp. of ground cumin. • 1 tbsp. of curry powder •mix 1/2 tbsp. wassabi with oil before tossing
