Scotcheroos!

Scotcheroos! Easy to make yummy bars!
ingredients
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 6 cups Rice Krispies
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup butterscotch chips

Cook corn syrup and sugar in 3 quart saucepan over medium heat until sugar dissolves and mixture begins to boil. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter and mix well. Add Rice Krispies and stir until well coated. Press mixture into 13x9x2 inch pan coated with Pam. I press them with my spatula by pushing on the side of the spatula so I don’t burn my finers. They wont stick to a pampered chef flat spatula. Set aside.

Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips together in microwave oven for 30 - 45 second interval until well melted and mixed. Spread evenly over cereal mixture. Let stand until firm.

I sometimes will cut them when the topping is not completely set, because it is much easier to do it then, or cut into bars when cool.
