This is a traditional holiday salad that has been around for over 25 years.

ingredients

  • 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (11 ounce) can mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1 (9 ounce) package frozen whipped topping,thawed

directions

Beat condensed milk with lemon juice in bowl until thick. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Chill several hours before serving and top with pecans if desired.

I have been making this salad at the holidays for about 20 years. It is another dish that has become a tradition in our family.
