OATMEAL COOKIES
Dianna’s famous oatmeal cookies!
ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 2 cups oats
- 1 1/4 cups chopped (broken) pecans
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 cup raisins

Cream butter and sugars together. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well.

Sift together:

Add to creamed mixture.

Add in:

2 cups oats

1 1/4 cups chopped (broken) pecans

Mix together. Form into balls and bake on ungreased baking sheet at 350 degree F. for 10 to 15 minutes until lightly browned. They will look a little wet on top. Remove from oven. Let cool in pan 10 minutes, then cool on cooling racks.
