Knock Your Socks Off Shrimp
ingredients
- 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 Tbsp dry red wine
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 36 slices baguette, for serving

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Lightly grease a 9- or 10-inch shallow oven-to-table baking dish, and arrange the shrimp in it in a single layer.

Combine the butter, wine, Worcestershire, garlic, black pepper, chili powder, salt, and cayenne pepper in a small saucepan. Bring the mixture just to a boil over medium-high heat and pour evenly over the shrimp. Bake until the shrimp are pink and cooked just through, 8 to 10 minutes. Sprinkle with the parsley and serve with the baguette slices alongside.
