Low Fat Cheddar Bay Biscuits
Low fat version of the Red Lobster classic.
ingredients
- 2 cups reduced fat Bisquick baking mix
- 3/4 cup low fat buttermilk
- 1 cup reduced fat shredded cheddar
- 2 tbsp fat free buttery spread
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp dried parsley, crushed fine

Heat oven to 400°. Combine baking mix, milk, and cheddar in a medium bowl. Mix by hand until well combined.

Divide into 12 portions (3 tbsp each) and spoon onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Flatten a bit with fingers. Bake 18-20 minutes until top begins to brown.

In small bowl, combine butter and garlic powder. Heat 30 seconds in microwave. Brush on biscuits right when they come out of the oven. Sprinkle parsley on top.
