My Mom's Famous Pepper Pasta
ingredients
- 1 red bell pepper
- Approximately 1 cup of chopped/diced pancetta or ham
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Parmesan cheese
- Ditallini pasta or small shells – any small pasta that will hold sauce
directions

*Broil the red bell peppers until skin is charred and put them in a brown bag to cool. When cool enough to handle, peel and chop.

*Dice the pancetta or ham and brown it in a little bit of olive oil.

*Add chopped peppers and peas; cook for a few minutes.

*Add cup of heavy cream and cook until thick.

*Cook pasta to package directions and mix with sauce and a little Parm cheese.
