Thai Pork Salad
ingredients
- THAI PORK
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 1 large onion
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves fresh garlic
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 3/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 2 teaspoons picked ginger
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- Asian chili sauce
- 1 (8 oz) can water chestnuts, drained and finely chopped
- 1 bunch green onions
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- SLAW
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons lite soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 (16 oz) package broccoli slaw mix

In a large skillet, brown ground beef with oil, stirring often. Drain and set aside. Cook onion in same pan,

stirring frequently. Add the garlic, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, ginger, vinegar, and chili pepper sauce to

the onions. Stir in chopped water chestnuts, green onions and sesame oil and continue cooking until

onions just begin to wilt.

SLAW: Stir together first 4 ingredients, drizzle over slaw mix, tossing to coat.

Place 1 cup of Thai Pork over 1 cup Asian slaw. Serve immediately.
