Tuna Chopped Salad
South Beach Phase 1 friendly
ingredients
- Salad:
- 1 can (6 oz) water-packed tuna
- 1/3 cup chopped cucumber
- 1/3 cup chopped tomato
- 1/3 cup chopped avocado
- 1/3 cup chopped celery
- 1/3 cup chopped radishes
- 1 cup chopped romaine lettuce
- Dressing:
- 4 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped (or 1 1/2 tsp of that garlic in a jar)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper (McCormick also sells Worcestershire black pepper and smokehouse black pepper)

Layer the tuna, cucumber, tomato, avocado, celery, radishes, and lettuce in bowl.

Mix the olive oil, lime juice, garlic, and pepper. Drizzle over salad.
