Rick used to make this when he was a cook for Lyon’s when we first got married. I tweaked it a little to what it is today. Rick was born 08/11/1950. We were married 05/16/1969. We have two children Ricky & Candi and four grand children Drew, Devann, Ryan, & Sean.

ingredients

  • 30 ounces Ragu Old World Spaghetti sauce
  • 1 pound lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 pounds jack cheese
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 pint small curd cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

directions

    Brown beef, onions in frying pan till brown. Add salt, pepper, and garlic to taste. Add Ragu sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.

    In a 9x13 backing dish put a layer of sauce then noodles, then spread in a little cottage cheese, a little more sauce, sprinkle Parmesan cheese then slices of jack cheese. Repeat each layer the same way till all ingredients are used up. Bake 375 degrees till hot and bubbly about 30 to 40 min
