Lime Jello Pear Salad

Excellent for the holidays. Very festive!
ingredients
- 1 large (6 oz) package lime jello
- 1 large (29 oz) can pears -- drained
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 small Cool Whip
directions

Drain the pears and save the juice.

Mash the pears and set aside.

Dissolve the jello in 2 cups HOT pear juice (just boiling). Add cream cheese and stir until blended. Add pears and Cool Whip. Blend. Pour into 9x13 dish and chill.

Cut into squares and serve.
notes
Top each square with a dollop of Cool Whip and decorate for the appropriate holiday.
