Sweet Cream Corn
ingredients
- 1 (10-16 ounce) package frozen Corn, thawed
- 1/2 C heavy Cream
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1-1 1/2 Tbsp granulated Sugar
- 1/8-1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 Tbsp Butter
- 1/2 C whole Milk
- 1 Tbsp all-purpose Flour
- 2 Tbsp freshly grated Parmesan Cheese, optional
directions
In a skillet over medium heat, combine the corn, cream, salt, sugar, pepper and butter. Whisk together the milk and flour, and stir into the corn mixture. Cook stirring over medium heat until the mixture is thickened, and corn is cooked through. Remove from heat, and stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted. Serve hot.
