Johnettes Sweet Potato Pie
She makes this for the holidays. Even if you don’t like yams you will love this. Johnette was born 06/11/1954. She is the mother of 4 children Willie, Johnathon, Katie, & Emily Dionne
ingredients
- 4 pounds cooked sweet potatos
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 tablespoons butter melted
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 3/4 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cup corn flakes, crushed

Preheat oven 300 degrees. Beat together the first 6 ingredients. Put into ungreased 9x13 baking dish. Bake 45 minutes or till sides leave dish or set.

For the topping. Cream together brown sugar, softened butter. Stir in pecans and crushed corn flakes. Spread on top of cooked potatoes. Put under broiler about 1 minute or till bubbly and crispy looking
