Scallops
ingredients
- 4 lg sea scallops or jumbo shrimp
- 2 oz spagetti
- 3c Savoy or napa cabbage
- 1.2 c shreadded carrot
- 1/4 c thin sliced onion
- 2 tbsp rice or wine vinegr
- 3tsp canola oil
- 1tbsp soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp honey
- 1/4 red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp sesame seeds.
directions
Rinse and pat dry scallops cut each in half. Cook spagetti according to pkg directions. Rinse and drain. In a serving bowl combine pasta, cabbage, carrot and onion. In a small bowl whisk together vinegar, 1tsp oil, soy sauce, honey and pepper flakes. Set aside. Heat 2 tsp oil in a skillet over medium heat cook scallops 3 to 4 min or until opeque, turning once. Place scallops over cabbage mixture. Add dressing and sprinkle with sesame seeds. gently toss to coat.
