Maw Maw Bischoff's Kibbee
ingredients
- 3 lbs to round Sirloin roast, trimmed of all fat and run through grinder twich.
- 3 cups #1 bulgur wheat (soaked for 20 min)
- 2-3 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 sticks butter melted
- 1/2 lb lamb cut fine or ground
- 1 large onion
- 1/2 cup pine nuts

Prepare filling: brown lamb with onion and pine nuts and set aside.

Combine all other ingredients very well.

In a large heavy duty baking pan (lasagna size or little larger) pour some of melted butter in bottom of pan (save majority for top).

Put a layer of 1/2 of meat mixture in bottom of pan.

Cover with filling and add rest of meat mixture.

Cut in diamonds and poke holes randomly.

Pour remaining butter over top. Cook for 1 hour at 400°.
