Oyster Chowder
ingredients
- 1 pt oysters
- 3 tbsp minced onion
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 cup water
- 2/3 cup diced celery
- 2 cup potatoes
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 qt milk
- snipped parsley
directions

Fry onion in butter until slightly golden

Add water, celery, potatoes, salt and pepper

Cover and cook until vegetables are tender

Add milk and let come to a boil

Simmer oysters in liquor for 5 minutes

Add parsley
