ingredients

  • 1 pt oysters
  • 3 tbsp minced onion
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup water
  • 2/3 cup diced celery
  • 2 cup potatoes
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 qt milk
  • snipped parsley

directions

    Fry onion in butter until slightly golden

  • 2

    Add water, celery, potatoes, salt and pepper

  • 3

    Cover and cook until vegetables are tender

  • 4

    Add milk and let come to a boil

  • 5

    Simmer oysters in liquor for 5 minutes

  • 6

    Add parsley
