LISA'S BROCCOLI-BACON-RAISIN SALAD
Mmmmm, good! One of the best recipes I’ve ever gotten from Lisa.
ingredients
- 6 slices bacon, cooked ’til crisp. Crumble.
- 2 bunches broccoli, chopped (I use 2 packages of broccoli florets)
- 3/4 cup raisins
- 3/4 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/2 cup red onion, diced or thinly sliced
- Dressing:
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar (cider vinegar works well, too)
- NOTE: If you are in a hurry, you can use 1-1/2 cups cole slaw dressing instead.
directions
Mix all ingredients together and toss with dressing. Chill before serving.
notes
A big thank you to Lisa for this great recipe! It is always a big hit whenever I take it to one of our church Pot Luck luncheons. There's never any left!
