Pork chops & Beans
ingredients
- 4 each pork loin chops (1/2 inch thick)
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 tsp. Black pepper
- 1 tsp. Vegetable oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup chili sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp.brown sugar
- 1 tsp. prepared mustard
- 2 can (16 oz ea.) kidney beans, drained
- 1/2 med onions
directions
Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper. In a skillet, brown chops in oil: Transfer chops to a slow cooker. Reserve 1 table. Drippings in skillet, sauté onions and garlic till tender stir in chili sauce, brown sugar, and mustard. Pour over chops, cover and cook on low for 7 to 8 hours. Stir in beans. Cover and cook 1 to 1 1/2 hour longer or until meat juices run clear and beans are hot.
