Homemade Salsa
ingredients
- 3 pounds tomatoes
- 1 large onion
- 1/2 bunch cilantro
- 1 large yellow onion
- 1 Tbsp lime juice
- Garlic, optional
- 2 jalapeno peppers (about 1-1/2" long)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- green chilies
- mexican seasoning

Remove tops from jalapeno peppers, cut down the center lengthwise, remove seeds (leave a few if you want salsa hotter).

Broil tomatoes, onions, and peppers until slightly browned. Put broiled vegetables, cilantro, garlic, salt, sugar, and vinegar in food processor and process until everything is finely chopped. Chill.
