Chicken Tacos
ingredients
- 4-6 chicken breasts, cleaned
- Minced garlic (~2 T.)
- 1/2 onion, chopped finely
- jarred sliced jalepenos and juice
- Seasonings:
- chili powder
- garlic salt
- salt, pepper
- hot sauce (we use franks)
- tortillas and toppings

Boil chicken breasts with garlic, onion, jalepenos and 2-4 T. jalepeno juice for 30 mins. Only add enough water to cover the chicken fully.

Strain the chicken through a pasta strainer, retaining a good amount of the boiled onion, garlic and jalepenos and 2 c. of the chicken broth.

Allow chicken to cool. Tear into small pieces and place in skillet.

Add the strained jalepenos, garlic and onion. Add a cup or two of the chicken broth.

Add seasonings (chili powder, garlic salt, salt, pepper and hot sauce to taste). Simmer ~30 mins.

Once liquid is almost gone, chicken is ready to serve into tortillas.
