ingredients

  • 2 heads fresh broccali
  • 1 head fresh cauliflower
  • 1 c. red onion
  • 1/2 c. slivered almonds, toasted
  • 1/2 c. cran-raisins or golden raisins
  • 8-10 slices crispy bacon, diced
  • Dressing ingredients:
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 2 T. apple cider vinegar
  • 2 t. sugar

directions

Use the broccali florets only and break them into bite size pieces. Break the cauliflower into the same size pieces. Dice the red onion and add it to the bowl along with the almonds, cran-raisins and bacon. Mix the mayonnaise, vinegar and sugar. Salt and pepper to taste. Pour the dressing over the vegetables and refrigerate for at least an hour.
