Oatmeal Banana Bread
Makes for a warm breakfast or tasty snack.
ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unpacked brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp table salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 3 tsp canola oil
- 1 egg
- 2 egg white
- 3 bananas, ripe
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Run oats through food processor until finely ground. Mix all dry ingredients.

3. Add egg, egg white, oil and bananas. Blend thoroughly.

4. Fold in chopped nuts and chocolate chips.

5. Grease pan and fill with batter. Bake for approximately 40 minutes.
